He is the author of Climb to the Lost World and The International Mountain Rescue Handbook.
This book first appeared in 1972 and since that date it has been the standard handbook of resuce teams throughout the world. This edition brings it right up to date and includes many new items of equipment and rope systems which have evolved since the last edition in 1984.
