It wasn't a replacement for my GPS but it was extremely helpful in navigating between major points of interest. It was also helpful because it showed the location of ruins, many of which we decided to visit because they were on the map. It may be missing fine||I had no idea National Geographic made adventure maps until recently when I was given a copy of their Northern Yucatán Peninsula Adventure Map.
